Like Albert Camus’s suggestion to rebellion, Le Sougui Atelier, led by Creative Director Jinsook Kim, redefines the aesthetics of rebellion. Creative Director Jinsook Kim of Seoul-based fashion label Le Sougui Atelier, starts from the legacy of a generation surrounding her, such as memories of her mother, daughter, and her father’s old knitwear, and focuses on expressing haute couture aspirations and rebellion based on the confidence of a classic tailor. “Clothes I want to wear.” Primitive yet not obvious, Le Sougui Atelier’s bold and new perspective encompasses values that are not only what is visible but also more than what is there.
