Mykita

Mykita

Founded in Berlin in 2003, the first MYKITA premises were settled in a former children’s day care, called Kita in German. This inspired not only the name My Kita, but also our culture of curiosity and play. We started with a clear aesthetic vision and a readiness to do things ourselves. Creating an open-minded work environment and a sense of integrity toward everything in and around the product came intuitively.

MYKITA started out in the same independent and pioneering spirit that shaped our hometown, Berlin. With no one to manufacture our original eyewear designs, the decision was made to set up the in-house production. Developing our own tools and processes to meet design requirements has since become a principle of how MYKITA operates and one of our greatest assets. At its heart, the modern manufactory is the combination of specialised craftsmanship and adapted new technologies.

In 2014, MYKITA settled into a historic building in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg. Headed by founder Moritz Krueger, the team at MYKITA HAUS is a mix of people with diverse cultural backgrounds and individual talents who guide the product through every stage. The interplay between people and disciplines drives the joy for experimentation and commitment to quality reflected in our products.

Simple, functional with an idiosyncratic look – discover how the patented and award-winning eyewear designs are conceived and developed at MYKITA.

Mulberry

Mulberry

Born in 1971, the roots of Mulberry are in Somerset, England. Mulberry's founder, Roger Saul, established the brand at his kitchen table, with £500 back from his mother. His sister designed our instantly-recognisable tree logo - both that, and the name “Mulberry” come from the trees he would pass each day on his way to school. The first designs were buckled leather belts, with other collections following soon after, including the original bags and womenswear. The hallmarks of these Mulberry collections - timeless design coupled with traditional quality - are threads that run through everything we make.

Mulberry's heritage is quintessentially British. Early inspiration was drawn from London's dynamism, combined with styles synonymous with English rural pursuits - hunting, shooting, fishing - and Mulberry's utterly individual style came to be dubbed "Le Style Anglais". The idea still inspires us. Between town and country, between Somerset serenity and London energy, Mulberry combines authentic, age-honoured craft with an innovative edge. Heritage meets a modern sense of rebellion - the rules are broken to make something new.

Muji

Muji

“Lower priced for a reason.” This phrase encapsulates how MUJI first began in 1980. We launched products that might almost be regarded as substandard if based on traditional criteria. Focusing on our three priorities of “selection of materials,” “streamlining of processes,” and “simplification of packages,” we have grown into a brand with over 7,000 no-frills quality products.

This site introduces MUJI from various perspectives such as “Message from MUJI” “Products and Services” “Stores” and “MUJI's Expanding Activities.”

MSGM

MSGM

In 2009, Massimo Giorgetti and the Paoloni group partner up to launch the first MSGM collection.

Giorgetti is initially working with three friends that, however, will soon abandon the project: the brand’s name, which takes inspiration from indie band MGMT, is also an acronym composed of their initials.

Giorgetti's creative process draws extensively from the current zeitgeist.

Having grown up in Rimini in the years of beach and club culture, he is able to mix a variety of inputs and harmonize them into youthful, individual aesthetics. Colors and prints burst in his style as a visual interpretation of rhythmic accents and overwhelming beats.

It is the ability to reinterpret the past through a modern language - bold, ironic but never dull - as well as to read and anticipate the future, that makes MSGM one of the most acclaimed Italian brands on the international scene.

Eager collector and lover of contemporary culture, music and art, Giorgetti constantly fosters new collaborations, teaming up with artists of the likes of Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari (Toiletpaper), Nico Vascellari, Massimo Vitali, Norbert Bisky, Todd Bienvenu and Seth Armstrong, or with legendary names such as horror master Dario Argento.

Some of the brand's claims, which also feature on its iconic t-shirts, include: "never look back, it's all ahead" and “leggerezza non è superficialità (lightness is not superficiality).

Today, MSGM collections are available at over 600 multibrand stores, department stores and e-commerce platforms worldwide, and at flagship stores and shop in shops in the main international fashion hubs, including Milan, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul.

Moncler

Moncler

The Moncler brand was born in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, a small village in the mountains near Grenoble, with a focus on sports clothing for the mountain.

The origins of the name lie in its very roots: Moncler is in fact the abbreviation of Monestier-de-Clermont, a mountain village near Grenoble. Here, René Ramillon and Andrè Vincent founded in 1952 the Company which gave life to the renowned down jacket, creating garments conceived to protect workers who wore them over their overalls, that offered high resistance and protection against the harshest climates and that were tested in a variety of expeditions.

Moncler’s success is based on a unique brand strategy aimed at developing innovative products that are strongly “anchored” to the history of the brand.

The journey, which began in 2003 when Remo Ruffini acquired the Group, has always been coherent and pursued without compromise. Heritage, uniqueness, quality, creativity and innovation are the terms used in Moncler to define the concept of “luxury”.
