Seiko
Founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori, Seiko began as a watch and clock shop in Tokyo. In 1892, Hattori established the Seikosha factory, which later became Seiko. The name "Seiko" first appeared on a wristwatch in 1924, marking the beginning of the brand's legacy. Seiko is celebrated for its pioneering spirit, introducing groundbreaking technologies such as the first quartz watch in 1969 and the first GPS solar watch in 2012.
