Sergio Rossi was an iconic Italian shoemaker renowned for his dedication to craftsmanship, elegance, and innovation in luxury footwear. Born in 1935 in San Mauro Pascoli, Italy, Rossi inherited his passion for shoemaking from his father, a skilled cobbler. He established his own workshop in 1951, where he began creating handmade sandals that he sold in Bologna boutiques and on the beaches of Rimini. In 1968, he officially launched the Sergio Rossi brand, marking the beginning of a legacy in high-end footwear design.
