Based in Brooklyn, New York, Tanner Fletcher is an emerging genderless brand specializing in ready to wear, handbags, home and jewelry that push the boundaries between masculinity and femininity. We bring a modern lens to past eras of interior design and fashion to form a type of style that is more suited for the twenty-first century. Home and wardrobe are more connected than one may think and we design to bridge the gap between the two.
Most importantly we founded Tanner Fletcher to create necessary change in the world when it comes to wardrobe. Personally, we have always shopped in a label free way by purchasing whatever we feel suits our personal style without taking into consideration whether it is men’s or women’s. We are setting out not to create a new shopping category altogether but to remove current and past gender labels associated with dressing that tend to put people in an invisible box with rules that don’t work with the freedom of our modern societies.
Tanner Fletcher is an ongoing evolution of a person’s style and vision combined with the highest quality of materials, new and found. We strongly feel that a person should surround themselves with pieces they love and are inspired by, without unnecessary labels.

TALIA BYRE SEARCHES FOR QUALITIES THAT TRANSGRESS TIME. INSPIRED BY FAMILY HEIRLOOMS AND THE COMMUNITY THAT SURROUNDS THE BRAND, THE BRAND'S CREATIONS EXUDE A TIMELESS SENSUALITY. RITUALS AND HERITAGE HAVE BEEN CENTRAL TO THE DESIGN LANGUAGE OF THE LONDON-BASED DESIGNER SINCE HER GRADUATION FROM CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS IN 2020. THE NAME, IS A TRIBUTE TO HER GREAT UNCLE'S BOUTIQUE, LUCINDA BYRE, WHICH WAS A COMMUNITY FOR MANY DURING ITS TENURE ON BOLD STREET, LIVERPOOL (1964-1982). OUR HOPE, IS TO BUILD TALIA BYRE WITH THAT SAME SPIRIT. WE BELIEVE THAT CLOTHES CARRY A PART OF THE PERSON WHO WEARS THEM, EACH GARMENT IS A STORY, HOWEVER ABOVE ALL, WE CREATE GARMENTS TO BE REPAIRED AND SHARED FOR YEARS TO COME.

Graduating from Bunka Fashion College and following an eight year tenure at ISSEY MIYAKE, Morikawa’s unique point of view to design and fabric innovation has earned the brand numerous accolades including the honor of Best New Designer by the Tokyo Fashion Awards in 2014 and 2017, as well as the Fashion Prize of Tokyo in 2019, awarded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Apparel Fashion Industry Council (JAFI). Since TAAKK’s inception, Morikawa has continued to reshape traditional ideas in menswear and push boundaries with his multidisciplinary approach to design.
