Y-3 SS23 Chapter 2
Y-3, the collaborative brand between adidas and Yohji Yamamoto, unveiled the first chapter of its SS23 collection in January, showcasing a destructed elegance aesthetic.
The brand has since launched Chapter 2 of the collection, titled "Technical Effortlessness," which incorporates fresh, functional design details into the brand's signature silhouettes. This marks a new direction for Y-3, redefining its style with inspiration drawn from Yamamoto's utilitarian workwear, evident in pieces like contemporary suiting, cargo pants, and outerwear.
The collection features relaxed yet structured silhouettes with subverted tracksuits, wide pants, and almost floor-length coats. While black remains a prominent colour, midnight blue and coral cuts also feature throughout the garments. Additionally, the collection includes weather-ready footwear and hats.
