HEELYS
HEELYS
In 1999, Roger Adams came up with the idea of putting a wheel in the sole of a shoe. He rode his first pair of roller skates at 9 months old and the love of the sport stuck with him. When he lived in Huntington Beach years later and watched kids zoom around on their skateboards and rollerblades, he realized there must be something new. He cut open a pair of sneakers, inserted a skateboard wheel, and Heelys were born! Today, Heelys are patented products that feature a removable wheel located in the heel, transforming the shoes into stealth skates and giving users the freedom to seamlessly transition from walking or running to skating by shifting their weight to their heel. When the wheels are easily removed, the shoe performs just like any other shoe.

Harris Tweed
Harris Tweed
From time immemorial, the inhabitants of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland have woven a beautiful and intricate cloth the world knows simply as Harris Tweed.
The islanders of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra had long been recognised for the excellence of their weaving. However, up until the middle of the nineteenth century, their cloth was used only on their crofts or sold at local markets.
In 1846, Lady Dunmore, widow of the landowner of Harris, the Earl of Dunmore, had the clan tartan replicated by Harris weavers in tweed. The results proved so successful that she began to devote much time and effort to marketing the tweed to her wealthy friends further afield.
As a result, sales of the island cloth were soon established with merchants across the country.

Harago
Harago
Canoe Club was founded in 2017 by people who love clothes. We have decades of cumulative experience selling them, a deep appreciation for the people who make them and a true dedication to bringing our customers a human experience when shopping their style. Maybe most importantly though, clothing is what we think and talk about even when we aren’t at work. This is what we get excited about. We believe that style is both a personal approach to life and a connection to an expansive culture - a visual language that represents both simultaneously.
We really want to encourage conversation with all of you. Where good things come from, how they’re worn, and where they go are important to us. Everything you see on this website has a story and we are here to tell it. Shopping can be difficult and even intimidating, but we want every aspect of it to be totally rewarding. The things we carry are as much art as they are functional clothing and we want to treat them as such - with the comfort and confidence of authentic representation.
If you have a problem, let’s figure it out together. If you have a question, let’s talk it out and learn together. And if you just want to chat about clothes, we’d love to. This is a community of humans who honestly care, not just about clothing, but about you and your voice in the mix. We promise to do our best to bring you the best clothing, the best possible experience, and a human touch whenever possible. And if a promise doesn’t feel like enough these days, we’ll pinky swear to it
