He first gained fame as Creative Director of Gucci (1994–2004), where he transformed the struggling brand into a global symbol of luxury, glamour, and sensuality. His sleek, provocative style revived the fashion house and later extended to Yves Saint Laurent after Gucci’s acquisition.
