Y/Project
Y/Project
Y/Project is a Paris-based fashion label founded in 2010 by Yohan Serfaty and Gilles Elalouf, later led by Belgian designer Glenn Martens. Known for its experimental and deconstructed approach, the brand reimagined classic garments with asymmetrical cuts, exaggerated proportions, and playful gender-fluid aesthetics that blurred the lines between streetwear and couture. Under Martens, Y/Project became a critical favourite for its balance of conceptual design and wearability, winning the 2017 ANDAM Grand Prize and earning global retail presence. Despite its acclaim, the label ceased operations in 2024 following financial and leadership challenges, leaving behind a lasting legacy of innovation and avant-garde elegance.
