Herno

Herno is a distinguished Italian luxury outerwear brand celebrated for its fusion of traditional craftsmanship and innovative design. Established in 1948 by Giuseppe Marenzi and his wife Alessandra Diana in Lesa, a town nestled on the shores of Lake Maggiore, the brand's name is derived from the nearby Erno River.

Initially, Herno specialized in crafting high-quality raincoats, utilizing castor oil sourced from surplus World War II aircraft to waterproof fabrics—a testament to the brand's resourcefulness and commitment to quality. Over the decades, Herno expanded its repertoire to include a wide range of outerwear, blending functionality with elegance.
