The Marble Table #005: Pantry Story Stanmore.
We’ve been spending a lot of time in meetings lately, and more often than not, this involves a couple of batch brews, some delectable pastries and a whole bunch of ideas bouncing around.
The most recent session was at Pantry Story in Stanmore, a cosy space with sweet details, super lovely service and some tasty savoury treats that made us sit up and pay attention.
Who can think about deadlines when you’re biting into a pork belly sausage roll filled with pieces of slightly sweet, spiced and juicy pork belly encased in light flaky pastry? The prawn and chicken roll perfectly paired with a drizzle of sweet and sour yuzu and honey sauce required our full attention. To the point where the brainstorming could only resume after the very last bite.
With so many layered and exciting flavours showcased on the menu, we enjoyed a sweet pear with truffle-infused custard pastry followed by more coffee and a pact to put this place on our rotation of favourite meeting spots.
Batch brews, flaky pastries and a pork belly sausage roll that stopped the meeting in its tracks. Pantry Story in Stanmore might just be our new favourite place to talk ideas over something seriously good.
